How do I buy Real Estate Foreclosures? From the outside, it looked like I had a perfect life. I had a good, salaried corporate job and a nice home and car. But the truth was I was working every hour God sent to maintain this. I am a single mother and I was training my teenagers to become typical latchkey kids. Not for their independence but because I didn’t get home until the late evening. My life was out of balance, so I started looking for answers. This is when I came across the world of real estate investing ‒ flipping houses for a profit. I had my own case of imposter syndrome ‒ “I have no experience”, “What if I go into debt?”…the objections were endless. I asked myself, “Are you financially stable & independent ?”.
Getting a grip on yourself
Eventually, I started to get the hang of it. My friends and family noticed the change in me. They said I looked less tired, that I and my kids were happier and more content.
They were desperate to know my secret. When they found out how I did it, they wanted me to teach them so they could spend more time with their families!
That’s when my coaching business was born. When I started taking clients I had another taste of the imposter phenomenon.
I didn’t feel worthy to teach women to become financially stable and independent. I mean, surely there was someone else?
But I kept going and when the first reviews started coming in, they were all from happy, successful clients!
That’s when I knew I had to crush impostor syndrome for good.
