Experience With Impostor Syndrome: Anxiety and Not Feeling Good Enough<\/span><\/h3>\n

How do I buy Real Estate Foreclosures? From the outside, it looked like I had a perfect life. I had a good, salaried corporate job and a nice home and car. But the truth was I was working every hour God sent to maintain this. I am a single mother and I was training my teenagers to become typical latchkey kids. Not for their independence but because I didn\u2019t get home until the late evening. My life was out of balance, so I started looking for answers.\u00a0<\/span>This is when I came across the world of real estate investing <\/span>\u2012<\/span><\/a> flipping houses for a profit.\u00a0<\/span>I had my own case of imposter syndrome <\/span>\u2012<\/span><\/a> \u201cI have no experience\u201d, \u201cWhat if I go into debt?\u201d…the objections were endless. I asked myself, “Are you financially stable & independent ?”.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Getting a grip on yourself<\/h3>\n

Eventually, I started to get the hang of it. My friends and family noticed the change in me. They said I looked less tired, that I and my kids were happier and more content.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They were desperate to know my secret. When they found out how I did it, they wanted me to teach them so they could spend more time with their families!<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s when my coaching business was born. When I started taking clients I had another taste of the <\/span>imposter phenomenon<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t feel worthy to teach women to become financially stable and independent. I mean, surely there was someone else?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But I kept going and when the first reviews started coming in, they were all from happy, successful clients<\/a>!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s when I knew I had to crush impostor syndrome for good.<\/span><\/p>\n
